IIHR Meet

Speaking at the Horticulture-Industry Meet at IIHR on Thursday, Dr H P Singh, Deputy Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) said he was not in favour of ‘patenting of researched products’. “Knowledge gained must be shared, it is no used having patent on products and not letting it be used for good,” he said and advised IIHR to start recording data of all 23 IIHR institutes and 230 villages.

The seed growers and distributors conveyed their problems in pushing research products in the market.
