JOIN USShe cleared five rigorous stages of evaluation to be in the top six and exhibited talent on stage before a live audience and the jury at the grand finale, in New Delhi on November 15.
Participants in both the junior and senior 2 categories were evaluated through a four-stage process spread over 10 months. Besides their performance in tests that evaluated all-round skills, a stage also entailed a live interaction with the jury through video conference. Later, 52 shortlisted candidates underwent final evaluation at Siri Fort in New Delhi before a live audience. Jury members comprised Bournvita Quiz Master Derek O’Brien, Niel O’Brien, Palash Sen and renowned writer Ruskin Bond.
iGenius Scholarships is an initiative of the Max New York Life Insurance. It rewards children with brilliance in both academics and extra-curricular activities to promote their all-round development. Children in class 3-8 took part and won scholarships worth Rs two crore. More than ten lakh children from over 500 cities enrolled in the programme. There was one top prize and 25 second prizes in each category.
