JOIN USSeats will be available only in those colleges which were left out of the seat matrix during the earlier counselling, due to uncertainty over their reaffiliation.
Here is the list of colleges: Naseema Fareed Institute of Speech and Hearing, Koramangala: MIB, 40 seats, Jnana Jyothi College of Business, Chamarajpet, MIB, 60, MFA, 60, Dayanand Sagar College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Kumaraswamy Layout, MIB, 30, Gupta College, BSK 3rd Stage, MIB, 30, MFA, 30, Institute of Business Management and Technology, BSK 3rd Stage, MIB, 60, MFA, 60, Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Soladevanahalli, MIB, 60, MFA, 60, Presidency College, Kempapura, MIB, 60, MFA, 60, Alliance School of Management, Chandapur, MIB, 60, MFA, 60, and International Academy of Management and Entrepreneurship, off Kanakapura Road, MIB, 60.
Recounselling will also be held for students already admitted for the academic year 2010-2011 during the earlier counselling.
Registrar (Administration) R M Ranganath, however, said recounselling was conducted in compliance with an interim order of the High Court. The court said that its directive would be subject to the result of the writ petitions filed by the International Academy of Management and Entrepreneurship challenging the cancellation of its affiliation. “If the writ petitions are dismissed, students admitted to the petitioner colleges will have to be transferred to some other colleges. BU should adequately inform the students who opt to take seats in these colleges,” stated the interim order.
Principals of the colleges concerned should be present at the counselling. According to the Registrar, a rescheduled calendar of events for the above courses will be announced after the admission process.
