Beauticians' add glamour to anniversary celebrations

The highlights were century old jewellery and saree worn by the participants  attracting the attention of many.

A release by association secretary Veda N Rai stated that Sapna of Sapna’s Beauty Parlour won the first prize in the ‘Artificial Gold Category’.

Uma Jadhav of Cosmos Beauty Parlour won the second prize and Malini R of Lucky Angel Beauty Parlour won the third prize.

Roopa Gowda of Magic Mirror Beauty Parlour won  consolation prizes.

In the ‘Antique Gold Jewellery’ category, Geethanjali of Queens Glamour and Glow Beauty Parlour, Kodagu, bagged the first place. Roopa of Her Choice Beauty Parlour secured the second prize and Padma Ponnappa bagged the third prize.

Nootan Nanda of Upasana Beauty Parlour had to be satisfied for consolation prizes.

Participants from various districts including Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mangalore and Hassan enthusiastically took part in the event.

HoD, JSS College of Jewellery Technology, Sridhar, Vasntha Kumari, and Tanishq’s Shashidhar were present on the occasion, the press release added.
