Puttaswamy had raised loans for his factory - Bee Jay Pee Sacks in Nanjangud. He could not run the factory and it went into liquidation so that its assets be sold to repay debts.
The loan is yet to be cleared.
“Yeddyurappa did not look into background of the person before appointing him as his political secretary,” Revanna alleged.
He said Puttaswamy had written to tahsildars of several taluks including asking details of land owned by Deve Gowda family.
Revanna wanted to know whether Puttaswamy had the right to write such a letter to officers.
