SkodaAuto India's November sales up 29 pc at 1,841 units

In November 2009, it had clocked a sales of 1,425 units.SkodaAuto India is a fully-owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto a.s. Czech Republic.

"Skoda has registered impressive growth in this year riding on the success of the two new launches - the new Skoda Fabia and Skoda Yeti," the company said in a press release issued here.

"We are pleased with the overwhelming response we have received with the introduction of our two new cars in the Skoda lineage in India - the New Skoda Fabia and Skoda Yeti.

The bookings of both these cars have been extremely encouraging. We are confident that these new additions by SkodaAuto will create more zeal and excitement for the customers," SkodaAuto India's Director & Board Member, Sales and Marketing, Thomas Kuehl, said.

SkodaAuto achieved another milestone with the roll-out of the 1,00,001 car from its plant at Aurangabad - a Yeti.

The company's Senior General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Ashutosh Dixit, said, "the overwhelming sales have been a result of our aggressive expansion strategy across India.

Over the years SkodaAuto India has successfully established a well-knit dealer network which has enabled us to cater to the ever-growing demand for the Skoda cars."

SkodaIndia has four models on sale in India - the Skoda Superb, Skoda Laura, Skoda Fabia and Skoda Yeti. SkodaAuto India has a network of 66 dealerships and 7 boutique showrooms pan-India.
