Applications invited for tourist taxi driver posts

Under the project, youth belonging to SC will be provided 23 vehicles and ten vehicles to youth belonging to ST community. The vehicles worth Rs 3.60 lakh with air-conditioned facility are being provided to enable the youth be self-sustained.

While the 50 percent of the total amount will be provided by the department as financial assistance, the beneficiaries have to bear five percent. The remaining 45 percent of the amount will be raised as loan from nationalised banks.

The applicants must be in the age group of 20-40 years, must have passed SSLC and their annual income should be Rs 40,000 in case of rural youth and Rs 55,000 for urban youth. Applicants should have at least five years of experience.
