ICG ship Mirabai which was on patrol duty intercepted three Pakistani fishing trawlers, 36 nautical miles off coastal town of Mithapur. The Pakistanis on board those trawlers were brought to Okha, a coastal town, by the ICG and will be taken for joint interrogation centre in Bhuj, they said.

"They look like fishermen but it will require further interrogation to ascertain their real identity," an official said. The names of the fishing trawlers were given as Al-Fahim, Al-Ramzan and Al-Rahim and they have been seized by the ICG.

This is the second time in a week when Pakistani fishermen have been arrested for illegally entering the Indian waters. A Pakistani boat with seven fishermen on board was apprehended by the ICG on Saturday last when it illegally entered the Indian waters near Jakhau port along the Kutch coast.
