The wedding of Joseph Guiso and Honey, the Labrador he adopted five years ago, was organised Thursday in Toowoomba city of Queensland, the Herald Sun reported. The ceremony was attended by 30 close relatives and friends.
"You're my best friend and you make every part of my day better," Guiso's vows read. Guiso said as a "religious guy", he could no longer take the guilt of living with Honey out of wedlock.
"It's not sexual," he assured the onlookers. "It's just pure love." The couple is planning a short honeymoon at one of Toowoomba's parks.
