'It's become a habit to bat under pressure'

“It’s all about the mindset. It has become a sort of habit for me to bat under pressure. I did that last year a few times and even in the last match against Orissa, I had to bat under pressure. I relish that effort,” the Karnataka batsman said.

Pandey and Aditya Sagar shared an 89-run partnership for the eighth wicket. “After the early departure of Amit and Binny, Adi gave me good support. I know Adi can bat, so it’s all about allowing him to play his game and me playing my game. We rotated the strike also well. It worked for us well today,” Pandey said.

Pandey added that despite an unbeaten century sixth-wicket stand between Paras Dogra and Manvinder Bisla, Karnataka were confident of pulling off the win. “We have taken five wickets already. They are their last recognised pair.”
