Addressing a press conference on Sunday, he said the depositors whose names had been omitted should submit an application with complete details to the Doddaballapur Assistant Commissioner within a month. Depositors based in Bangalore will have to submit an application to the rent control officer.
The ViniVinc company has enough assets to repay the money, he said and added that the CoD had seized properties worth Rs 85 crore and the company has to pay only Rs 29 crore to its depositors. The matter is now before the Supreme Court. Shastry said that the documents pertaining to returning the deposits had been prepared.
