Four Indian fishermen arrested by Lankan authorities

They have been taken into custody along with their fishing boat near Delft island yesterday, police said.Fishing in the sea between southern tip of India and northern Sri Lanka has been a cause for concern for both countries as fishermen cross the border for poaching.
The sea corridor between the two countries have been used for illegal activities including smuggling and trafficking despite intense coast guard patrolling.The arrested fishermen are to be produced in a court today, a police source said.
