Woman murders neighbour for gain

Subbalakshmamma was convinced by her neighbour Lakshmidevamma to do a Devi pooja and was taken near the lake. The two were greeted by Ravi Teja (20) an accomplice in the murder with Lakshmidevamma. The two together had assured Subbalakshmamma, that all her desires would be fulfilled if she performed the pooja. She was then suddenly attacked and stabbed to death after which her body was thrown into the lake.

Unaware of Subbalakshmamma’s murder her husband Redappa lodged a complaint with the police as she had not returned home. Lakshmidevamma admitted to the crime when she was probed further.

Also, the victim’s jewellery and a chain weighing 50 grams were found in Lakshmidevamma’s house. She then admitted to the crime and said she committed the murder for gain.
Youth killed in accident

 A 25 year old youth died after his motorcycle was hit by an APSRTC bus in Ulsoor gate police station limits around 8.30 pm on Friday.

The victim Nitesh Sinha, a resident of Koramangala and an employee of a private firm in Rajajinagar was returning home with a friend when the bus hit their bike. He was admitted to St Martha's where he died a few hours later.
