Speaking on the occasion, Pandit Taranath said noted Kannada cine actor, late Dr Raj Kumar who was trained by noted theatre personality, Gubbi Veeranna, had a wonderful voice.

Besides, Dr Raj was a great actor too. In film field, some of the leading personalities like Dr Raj of Kannada, Shivajiganeshan of Tamil, N T Ramarao of Telugu and Dileepkumar of Hindi, had unique voice. Likewise, the voice of Lawrence in English was too good. Everyone should see the English movie ‘Julius Ceaser’ written by William Shakespeare.
