Advocates boycott court in Hassan

The lawyers came out in support of Lokayukta and said Santhosh Hegde was the last hope for the State, which is riddled with corruption and irregularities at the helm.

The Government tried to demoralise the Lokayukta making unparliamentary remarks against him. “We support the sincerity and the commitment of Santhosh Hegde towards his job.
The Bar Association wants to show solidarity and moral support to Lokayukta to continue with his good deeds,” they said.

They urged the people of the state to come out in support of Lokayukta and warned the Bar Association will have to resort to campaign against government if it tried to interrupt Hegde’s works. The members took out a rally from the court to the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
