Additionally, Friday’s races in Mysore had to be called off because of the cancellation of their canteen license by the Mysore City Corporation.
After the meetings on Friday, a top MRC official expressed the confidence things would come to an early and satisfactory end. “We met with the Chief Minister and Minister in charge of Mysore District SA Ramdas, and they have agreed to look into the matter,” he said. “As a result of our meeting, we are in a position to conduct racing activities in Mysore again. Off-course betting for the Bangalore races will be in place on Saturday.”
