Cameron's epic blockbuster which smashed all box-office records when it was released last year, garnered more than USD 2.7 billion.

The 56-year-old director on his part has vowed to help upcoming Indian filmmakers to use the 3D equipment to direct a blockbuster, said Hollywood Reporter.

"If there is an Indian director who'd like to make a film - it could be about the Ramayana or the Mahabharata - we can offer the technology we've already developed, the 3D system and the digital 3D Fusion Camera," he said during a speech at the Innovation and Knowledge Conference in Lavasa, India.
