JOIN US Top seed Karnataka boy S Kishen warded off a stiff challenge from Alok Aradya 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 to make it to the under-14 semifinals of the All India Talent Series tennis tournament at the PET Stadium here on Wednesday.
Joining Kishen in the last four stage were Anthony Savio, the second seed, and M S Rakshith, both from Karnataka, and C Mohan of Tamil Nadu. Anthony Savio defeated Arjun Muralidhar 6-2, 6-2.
In the under-12 category too, there were three semifinalists from Karnataka.
The trio are Vasisht C, Mohit Reddy and Amogh Vardhan, with Sanjay Mohan from Tamil Nadu giving company.
