BEML employees seek pay parity

While there was no cessation of work, the BEML staff protested for three hours. Having presented a memorandum at the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner’s office on Monday, the employees said the demands were only to ensure that the management gives them their dues. “Our only demand is for parity with other three defence PSUs. The increment in our fitment benefit and other perks were to have happened from January 1 2007. It is still not delivered to the employees,” informed Ram Mohan, President of the BEMEA, KGF.
