Navjit pilots Amos to gold

Navjit, astride Amos, put down two obstacles to incur eight faults before claiming the crown ahead of second-placed Arun Maribashetti. Navjit and Arun were tied at 8 faults each but the former won the title as he took less time to complete the routine.

Govind Ram, riding Arjun, claimed the third spot with 12 faults.
Arun, however, made amends for his miss by winning the showjumping category ‘A’ title. Arun powered CJ-15 to victory with Rohit Daggar (Arjuna) coming behind the winner for the second place.

Lt Colonel AS Rathore of DSSC Wellington was adjudged the best rider of the meet while Yuvraj Singh clinched the corresponding award in the junior section.

Results: Showjumping (category ‘B’): Navjit Singh Sandhu (astride Amos) 8 faults, 1; Arun Maribashetti (Light Bellerina) 8 faults, 2; Govind Ram (Arjun) 12 faults, 3.

Showjumping (category ‘A’): Arun Maribashetti (astride CJ-15) 1; Rohit Daggar (Arjuna) 2; Maryak Sahney (Dubheasis) 3.

Successive relay: Yuvraj Yadav & Rajeev Kumar,  1; Yuvraj Singh & Sumer Singh, 2; Siddhant Sharma & Sameer Chaudhary, 3.

Dressage preliminary: Rahul Daggar, 1; Rahul Daggar, 2; Raj Sangram Singh, 3.
