Superstition beliefs led to child's death: AC report

He has submitted a three page report to the Deputy Commissioner Subodh Yadav on the direction from the State Human Rights Commission and Karnataka State Child Rights Protection Commission. He had visited the crime scene with Mangalore Tahsildar Manjunath on Sunday. He said that he has collected information from neighbours of the accused Kamalaksha Purusha and Chandrakala. There are all possibility of superstition belief leading to the killing of three and half year old Priyanka.

The Ivestigating Officer, Niranjan Raj Urs will be asked to take public opinion into consideration while carrying out investigations. He said that the accused Kamalaksha Purusha did not have cordial relation with his neighbours.
