Deepti left her Paschim Vihar home in her car and parked the vehicle on Moti Nagar flyover and then allegedly leapt from it around 7:15 AM, a senior police official said.

The victim, who works in a BPO in neighbouring Noida, was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital where she was declared brought dead. She suffered multiple fractures.
According to police, her brother received two text messages from her before she leapt to death, saying she was "sorry".

Investigators have recovered a diary from the car in which she drove to Moti Nagar and is examining it to ascertain the reason for the young woman taking the extreme step.
"We are also speaking to her brother and other family members as well as her co-workers," the official said.

The official said investigators were checking the call details of Deepti. "We are checking those who were in touch with Deepti before she took the extreme step," the official said.
Deepti had returned home after a night shift and in the morning, she went out on the pretext of going for a drive.

"We are examining whether she was depressed over some issues in office or personal relationships. We are also checking whether there were family related issues. We will talk to her family, friends and colleagues," the official said.

According to the official, she was apparently returning home when she stopped her car and leapt from the flyover.
