“Information will be sought from the President whether Governor of all States are instructed to play pro-active role to expose the scams in which ministers in the cabinet of respective State are involved,” he told media persons in the City on Thursday.

“Reference will be made in the letter to Governor’s statements that he has a list of corrupt ministers as State BJP is eager to know under whose instruction the statements were issued and the motive behind the act,” he informed.

Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily has met Governor H R Bharadwaj on the direction of AICC President Sonia Gandhi. It is unfortunate that a Central minister is acting as an envoy of Sonia Gandhi.

“On the basis of such wrong information furnished by Veerappa Moily, Sonia Gandhi criticised State Government in the plenary session of Congress. Efforts by Congress leaders to create confusion among the people during local body election are uncalled for”, he stated.

He informed that the government aimed at strengthening Taluk Panchayats that are the middle rung of the three-tier Panchayat Raj system.
