Cong plans anti-CM campaign: Poojary

Last Updated 23 December 2010, 16:08 IST

To set right the situation, the Congress has decided to stage an anti-Yeddyurappa campaign, informed Poojary.

Speaking to media persons, Poojary said that BJP leaders lack courage to face the corruption charges against them. Criticising the BJP, Poojary said that when the Governor asked the ruling party to arrive at Raj Bhavan and counter check the proof that are in his possession, Yeddyurappa led BJP did not make any move to face the reality.

“BJP has been criticising Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for various reasons. To question Congress leaders about their morality, does BJP know what morality is all about? If at all BJP has to talk about morality, then let all those who are charged of corruption in the BJP government step out of their power,” he challenged.

Criticising Yeddyurappa for not working in terms of State’s development, Poojary said that all the developments carried out in the State are funded by the Central government. The only achievement of the State is setting record in corruption and not in terms of development, he ridiculed.

Informing about Yeddyurappa Hatao campaign, Poojary said that Congress will reach out every house in the State, including the villages where people will be informed about the malpractices of the BJP government and thereby create a public opinion.
