Friends and family wish Salman Khan on 45th birthday

His 'Dabangg' co-star Sonakshi Sinha took to Twitter to wish the actor, posting, "Chulbul Pandey/Robinhood Pandey/Salman Khan ko janamdin ki shubhkamnayein (Wishing Salman a very happy birthday)! Pretty sure he is bringing the house down in Dubai!"

Another co-star and friend Preity Zinta wrote, "Hey Salman! Wish you a very happy birthday and may all things wonderful big and small always come your way! Lots of love always."

"Happpppy b'day Salman Bhai. Hope you have a superrrr year!" wrote actress Amrita Arora.

Salman's brother Arbaaz too wished him on the micro-blogging site: "Happy birthday Salman bhai. Have a great day and a 'Dabangg' year ahead. We all love you."
