JOIN USThe Hoysala mobile patrol vehicles work round the clock. It will be linked to the police control room through wireless communication. They respond to calls as directed by the police control room.
These patrols give information on crime from the spot to the control room.The global positioning system (GPS) have been installed in these vehicles. The Hoysala vehicles are equipped with necessary arms and ammunitions, first aid, fire extinguishing equipment and public address system.
Patrolling
A Hoysala mobile patrol each will be working under the police station limits of Udupi Town, Manipal and Hiriyadka, Malpe, Kaup and Padubidri, Kundapur, Brahmavar and Kota, Gangolli, Baindur and Kollur, and Karkala. Superintendent of Police Pravin Pawar, Additional Superintendent of Police M V Venkateshappa, DySP Jayant Shetty were present.
