JOIN USNo vehicle, barring police vehicles and those of essential services on duty, can enter from any direction between 8 pm on December 31 and 1 am on January 1 on the following roads:
*MG Road: Anil Kumble Circle till Residency Road junction near Mayo Hall.
* Brigade Road: Cauvery Emporium Junction till Opera House Junction.
* Church Street: Brigade Road Junction till Museum Road Junction.
* Museum Road: MG Road Junction till Old Madras Bank Road Junction.
* Rest House Road: Museum Road Junction till Brigade Road Junction.
* Kamaraj Road: Cauvery Emporium Junction till Cubbon Road Junction and Cubbon Road Junction till Arts and Crafts Emporium Junction.
* Residency Cross Road to MG Road Symphony Theatre Junction.
No vehicle, expect police vehicles and those of essential services on duty, can be parked on the following roads:
* MG Road: Anil Kumble Circle till Trinity Circle.
* Brigade Road: Arts and Crafts Junction till Opera House Junction.
* Church Street: Brigade Road Junction till St Mark's Road Junction.
* Rest House Road: Brigade Road Junction till Museum Road Junction.
* Museum Road: M G Road Junction till Old Madras Bank Road
Vehicles parked on M G Road, Brigade Road, Rest House Road, Church Street, Residency Road and St Mark's Road should be removed before 4 pm on December 31, failing which they will be removed by the police and the owners would be fined.
After 8 pm on December 31, vehicles plying on MG Road from Queen's Statue Junction and proceeding towards Ulsoor and further should turn left at Anil Kumble Circle and BRV Junction, turn right at Cubbon Road and proceed further to join MG Road near the Webb's Junction.
Vehicles coming from Ulsoor and bound for Cantonment areas should turn right near Trinity Circle and enter Ulsoor Road, take a left turn at Dickenson Road to proceed on Cubbon Road. Vehicles can be parked on either side from Kamaraj Road Junction till Commercial Street Junction. Parking will be allowed inside Cubbon Park on King's Road and Shivajinagar Bus Stand.
Magarath Road has been closed from Garuda Mall towards Brigade Road due to the BBMP work. To reach Brigade Road, one should turn right at the Commissariat Road and proceed on Markham Road.
Pedestrians can walk on Brigade Road only from Cauvery Emporium Junction till the Opera House Junction. Walking in the opposite direction will be prohibited.
For coming to MG Road, they should walk via Residency Road Cross (near Symphony Theatre Cross).
In order to prevent drunken driving, police have requested that at least one reveller in a group of party-goers should abstain from drinking alcohol to ensure safe return of his/her friends.
