Presidency School, RT Nagar cruised to a 158-run win against Jain International Residential School in the KSCA inter-school under-16 (first phase) knock out tournament.
Virendra Singh scored an unbeaten 128 while Akash (33) and Sufiyan Syed (60) chipped in with useful contributions to carry Presidency through to 265 for five in the allotted 50 overs. Sharan Gowda (3/25), Rajesh Kumar (2/9) and Vignesh (2/9) reduced Jain to 107 in 23.1 overs.
Aditya Somanna grabbed four wickets to power Bethany School to a 87-run win over Bangalore Higher Secondary School. Batting first, Bethany relied on Amit Kataria’s 36 and Nitin Lazarus 30 to post 190 all out in 34,1 overs.
