Successful and creative

After a super successful year at the box office with releases like Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, Rajneeti, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Golmaal’ 3 and Toonpur Ka Superrhero, Ajay Devgan is taking another step in the entertainment industry.

Buzz is that the talented actor is a part of a new ticketing-cum-entertainment website called

Ajay says, “For the last one year, we have been working with the team. When they came to me with the concept, I liked the idea, found it interesting and agreed to be a part of it.”
The launch of the website happened recently, where Ajay was seen buying the first tickets of the upcoming movie Yamla Pagla Deewana.

The Deols, who star in the film, were also a part of the launch.

Looks like this is one venture to watch out for!

The Bieber fever

“My promise to my niece this new year that I’ll start listening to Justin Bieber. Oh god help me..... guess never say never!!!! (sic),” Abhishek posted on his Twitter page.
To this, Vishal Dadlani of music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar, commented, “Oh my god!!! Run, AB, run!! That whiny-girl voice, those syrupy songs, it’s a fate worse than death! (sic)”

The composer also invited Abhishek to bring his 13-year-old niece for one of his shows. “Bring her to the show, yo! We will get her off that Bieber-music. Promise!” Dadlani posted.

Well, a strong reaction like this was bound to raise some eyebrows.

So Dadlani has started getting hate messages from Bieber’s fans. In fact, the fans of the Baby hitmaker are known to be quite violent as they do not waste any time issuing death threats.

So while Abhishek tries to keep his promise of listening to the songs of Justin Bieber this year, will Dadlani have a tough time handling ‘Bieber-lovers’? Let’s wait and watch.

Swearing like sailors

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has revealed Angelina Jolie has one thing in common with legendary screen beauty Elizabeth Taylor — they can both “cuss like sailors”.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star was stunned to discover Jolie’s penchant for curse words while they filmed their movie The Tourist and admitted that her swearing reminded him of the veteran actress.

“I’ve had the honour, pleasure and gift of having known Elizabeth Taylor for a number of years. You know when you sit down with her, she sits there and cusses like a sailor and she is hilarious. Angie has got the same kind of thing, you know, the same approach,” said Depp.

Portraying a slice of life nointeresting Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan in No One Killed Jessica.

Two films-old director Rajkumar Gupta, whose latest No One Killed Jessica hit screens on January 7, doesn’t believe in spinning sugary, sweet and unrealistic stories on celluloid.  “My first and second films are very real because I want to make films about this world.

I don’t want to make a film about a world that doesn’t exist. I don’t want to be part of any alien world. So I don’t see myself doing candyfloss stuff,” said Gupta, who made a mark with his critically-acclaimed directorial debut Aamir.

“But in case of genres, I would love to explore each and every one of them,” he added. No One Killed Jessica, starring Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan, is based on model Jessica Lal’s murder.

Room on fire

The hot and sexy Celina Jaitley, who recently made headlines for her engagement to Dubai-based hotelier Peter Haag, faced a shocking incident a few days ago. In the middle of the night, all of a sudden, this doe-eyed beauty woke up to the loud and frantic barks of her dog, Gooblee.

The sexy siren was shocked to discover that the massive television set in her room had sparked and burst into flames spreading smoke all over the house.

Recovering her senses, the brave actress sprung across the room to unplug the main switch immediately. She narrowly escaped this life-threatening situation as the screen was just a few inches away from her bed.

Kudos to her dog Gooblee and the actress herself, for her presence of mind which saved her as well as her house from burning down.

A cold start

The year has just begun and actress Sophie Choudhry is already under the weather.
“Sore throat, blocked nose and what feels like a sprained neck! I know they say bad things come in 3s but this is ridiculous!? (sic),” Sophie posted on Twitter.

However, she had a blast this New Year’s eve as she gave a livewire performance in Bangalore.

Walking the talk alone

Thanks to his novel ideas and witty one-liners, Shah Rukh Khan has ended up hogging the limelight while hosting many award functions.

But at a recent award ceremony, King Khan did all the talking, while co-host Shahid Kapoor played a mute spectator. No SRK did not steal Sasha’s lines! The fact is that Shahid did not rehearse for his act at all.

Upset with Shahid for not making it to the rehearsal, SRK decided to all the talking on stage alone.
