In the first incident, two miscreants robbed Denin Chandra of Konena Agrahara, of his laptop, two cellphones, debit and credit cards and a gold ring on Natesh Golf View Apartment Road around 2 pm.
Half an hour later, two miscreants who came on a bike, accosted Manju from Indiranagar 2nd stage at the Domlur flyover, snatched his cellphone and Rs 2,000 and absconded. He sustained injuries on his right leg and stomach when one of the suspects stabbed him, police said.
In another incident, Jayakeerthi was injured when two unidentified men allegedly stabbed him on the stomach and fled, at the CMH Road junction in Indiranagar in the wee hours. The suspects came in a bike, threatened him at knifepoint and stabbed him, when he refused to hand over his valuables. Jayakeerthi was treated at a hospital and is said to be out of danger.
Moneylender held
The CCB police arrested H R Manjunath (37), a money- lender for allegedly harassing his customers for very high interest.
Police seized from him agreement papers pertaining to properties, Rs 6.32 lakh in cash, a pistol, nine live bullets, a car, a bike, three cellphones, all valued at Rs 20 lakh.
Manjunath was allegedly conducting money-lending business without a licence. He lent money at high interest rates and used anti-social elements for recovery whenever customers defaulted.
He had amassed property worth Rs five crore through illegal means. The police arrested him at Kodihalli Main Road, J B Nagar.
