Discover India — Chadar airs on January 19 at 8 pm on Discovery Channel. The programme showcases a dangerous ordeal for both men and women, a daunting confirmation with cold, fatigue and thirst along with fear, dizzying heights and demons. The Zanskar are hidden away in the heart of the Himalayas.

During winter, which lasts for eight months, the snow clad mountain passes are inaccessible, and the Zanskari are entirely cut out from the rest of the world.

Envious in a good way

They are the best of pals in the industry but Suniel Shetty has revealed that he goes green with envy every time he thinks of buddy Akshay Kumar’s career path.

“I am envious of Akshay’s career but from an aspirational point of view. You are inspired by the way he has moved on and achieved so much. That gives you the strength to go on and on,” said Suniel.

Having started as action stars, both actors moved on to do comedies and multi-starrers. Both have even worked together in many hit films like Mohra, Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri to name a few.

Aim to start afresh

HBO presents Honey, starring Jessica Alba, Lil’ Romeo and Mekhi Phifer, on January 19 at 9 pm. Honey Daniels (Alba) is a girl from the streets who works in a record store, takes an occasional dance class, and treks downtown every weekend to hit the clubs.

Her meeting with a music video producer introduces her to another world, but one with a heavy price to pay.

Determined to start anew, Daniels goes back to the inner city of her youth with plans of starting a dance school.  This romantic drama also features Missy Eliot, Tweet, Jay-Z and Ginuwine as themselves.
