The annual awards are given in four categories: best business achiever (India), best business achiever (International), best woman entrepreneur and best social entrepreneur.
Besides entrepreneurs, awards will also be given to industrialists in the IT/ITeS sector. More than 500 universities have participated in competitions held in four categories - Progettista (best business plan), Accurance (live case contest), Scribe (article writing) and Manthan (best student entrepreneur). Besides this, the centre for entrepreneurship development and research was also launched in November 2010 to provide a platform for students and entrepreneurs to help them in the field.
