Back to old comforts?

The comedy show Dekh India Dekh on Sony TV has undergone a change in its form. The show had popular television actors enacting gags as different characters like Akbar and Birbal played by Rajesh Kumar & Rajiv Nigam; Malti Manohar Mishra played by Gaurav Gera and Swapnil Joshi as the hen-pecked Jignesh Shah. The actors were put in different situations like a discotheque, traffic signals and so on, to make it look life-like. However, with the change in format, these artists go back to the comfort of stand-up comedy in the studio, but continue to maintain their characters. Shekhar Suman who earlier hosted the show is now back to judging it along with Archana Puran Singh, and Shweta Gulati takes on the role of the new host.

Avika GorStriving for perfection
The very talented Avika Gor has started taking steps towards perfection. The actress, who is considered the youngest beendni of Indian television is gearing up for her debut movie Morning Walk. The movie has her playing grand-daughter to Anupam Kher and Sharmila Tagore. The 12-year-old is delighted about acting in the movie. She says that most of her shots were with Anumpam Kher and that is how she could learn a lot from him. In between shots, he would tell her how to change the dialogues without changing its meaning, how to bring about perfection in facial expressions etc. This has helped her tremendously and that is the reason why she wants to join his acting classes. The young lady is definitely heading towards excellence in acting.

In this episode, visit an Indiana dairy farm as Mike learns how to milk a cow and use a blow torch to clean her udders. Then, Mike gets the scoop on how to inseminate a cow. Finally, Mike gets an up-close look at fatherhood as he helps deliver baby calves. Watch Dirty Jobs on July 17 at 10 pm on Discovery Channel.
