Bundh: Revanna to file petition in High Court

Addressing press persons at a news conference, he urged the Governor for dismissal of this government for misusing the official machinery.

Protection of life and property is the main responsibility of the government, but the state government gave a call for bundh and provoked people to indulge in violence, affecting public life and damaging public property.

He alleged that ruling party had intentionally given the call to bring pressure on lawyers not to file cases against the Chief Minister and other persons based on the permission for prosecution against B S Yeddyurppa by the Governor. There is every possibility, that the ruling party may use same pressure tactics on the judges handling cases of corruption charges against Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in coming days. This attitude of ruling party leaders is detrimental to the interests of democratic set-up. Besides, the chief minister misusing the official machinery to cover his corruption charges.

The CM and his family members are allegedly involved in denotification scandals. It is not good to designate government advocates, Advocate General of the State to handle his personal corruption charges.  Criticising Transport Minister R Ashok for stopping KSRTC bus services, he demanded the concerned minister to give a reason for adopting such anti-people stance.
