Procurement of Green Anaconda approved

Sources told Deccan Herald that the council also gave consent to shifting of two lions from the Mysore Zoo to Shimoga Zoo after procuring a pair of Asiatic Lions from the Gujarat Zoo.

Other proposals

Other proposals that got nod of the council are procuring a pair of Polymina from Hongkong Zoo.

Exchange

A few animals from Satbin Zoo in Punjab and an African Buffalo from the Trivandrum Zoo for the exchange of Bison have also been approved. Also three types of crocodiles from Madras Crocodile Bank are also being procured by the zoo.
