CM's remarks reveal his medieval mindset: Siddu

“I am seriously considering filing a criminal defamation case against Yeddyurappa for indulging in my character assassination”, Siddaramaiah told reporters in Bangalore.

 Siddaramaiah alleged that Yeddyurappa was going through “political depression” and suggested that he undergo “counselling” to overcome the fear of black magic.

He was reacting to Yeddyurappa’s claim on Monday that people who failed to dislodge him by black magic were now organising rituals to eliminate him. Siddaramaiah said the charges levelled against him were totally false and baseless and it exposed Yeddyurappa’s “medieval and reactionary mindset”. “If the Chief Minister himself says there is threat to his life, what protection can he give to the people of the State?” he remarked.

He alleged that it was a ploy of the Chief Minister to save his chair by diverting the attention of the public by making such a statement.

“Yeddyurappa, with all the corruption charges against him is living in the fear of losing his job”, charged Siddaramaiah.
