JOIN USThe teacher, employed at the Shivram Vidya Mandir and Junior College in Saki Naka, said she had been molested by the 56-year-old principal Ramshankar Shrivastav several times over the last two decades. “In her complaint the teacher said the principal used to call her to his room and then molest her and take advantage of her,” a police official at the Saki Naka police station said.
“The victim alleged he had also blackmailed her, due to which she had not come forward till now,” the official said, adding “a television channel showed some clips of the principal molesting another staff member in his room two to three days ago after which Shrivastav was absconding. The victim decided to approach the police after viewing the clip”
Police officials said they were in the process of obtaining evidence against Shrivastav and were speaking to other staff of the college regarding such incidents in the past.
