Counselling again for 600 more MBBS seats

Following an inspection, the MCI had raised questions on the lack of adequate infrastructural and teaching facilities in these colleges. The colleges had submitted a compliance report to MCI after addressing these issues. Based on this report, the Council has now given its green signal.

The 600 MBBS seats under government quota will now be given to CET candidates on a ‘merit-cum-roster’ basis. Rankholders from the first rank to the last rank will be eligible to select these seats, Medical Education Minister, Ramachandra Gowda said in a press release.
