The campus looked lively and the students were cheerful.

Although the joy of completing an important milestone in their life was visible on their faces, they were sad to leave their college and said they would miss their teachers.

The upcoming board exams was yet another challenge they had to face.

The girls wore green saris while the boys were seen in formals.

The occasion provided them an opportunity to interact with their juniors and share their experiences about the college.

The chief guest for the event was Sriramulu, the secretary of the Vasavi Educational Trust.

He appealed to the students to aim high and achieve their goals.

The students were also accorded a special farewell by the juniors who organised a cultural event, in which they dedicated songs and presented a fusion dance performance   for the seniors.

There was yet another unique event in which the students planted saplings in their college to cherish the moments they have spent in their college.

Annie Moses, Principal, Vasavi Manandi College administered the oath to the outgoing students and also encouraged them to have a clear and better understanding about the world outside. She also stressed the importance of discipline, punctuality and honesty in the life of every individual and how that will help them in the future.

Srinivas Karthik, a commerce student, said, “This college has been a heaven for me and I’m very grateful to all the lecturers here for their unstinted support which has given me the self-confidence and courage to face anything in life.”

He also thanked the staff and juniors for a warm farewell.

Pooja, another student, recalled the days she had spent with her friends and teachers and said, “I will miss the times that I have spent here. Every nook and corner of this college has a special place in my heart and carries a lot of memories. The two years that I have spent here are one of the most memorable phases of my life.”

The lecturers spoke to the students on a rather emotion-filled tone while the students were seen taking pictures with their friends and teachers and bidding a warm adieu to their campus.
