Right shots

The National Gallery of  Modern Art, in association with British Council, is hosting an exhibition on contemporary photography from the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, which has the largest collection of photographs in the world.

The exhibition, which will be on till February 27, will have 40 photographs and is called Something That I’ll Never Really See.  The artists whose works are exhibited include Cindy Sherman, Edgar Martins, Gavin Turk, Huang Yan and Olga Chernysheva.

Vivid colours

As part of its first anniversary show, Galerie De’Arts is hosting an exhibition called Contemporary Pioneers Karnataka, an exhibition of paintings by the contemporary artists of 1970s.  The show is dedicated to K K Hebbar. The show is conceptualised by Yusuf Arakkal and curated by Deepa Subramanian. The show will be on view till March 9, 11 am to 7 pm, at Galerie De’Arts, 11th  Floor, Barton Centre, 84 MG Road.
