The nail-biting World Cup match between India and England claimed the life of a cricket enthusiast on Sunday night.
Somashekargowda Patil (45), a resident Vajjala village here, complained of chest pain while watching the match.
He consumed a pill and continued to watch the match, but suffered a massive cardiac arrest and died at home.
