<p>KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof K S Rangappa said that the honorary doctorates will be given to scientists Prof C N R Rao, Govardhan Mehta, Dr C N Manjunath, Prof Rajkumar and S R Ramaswamy.<br /><br />While Prof C N R Rao is the honorary president of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Prof Govardhan Mehta is a research professor at the Institute of Life Sciences, Hyderabad.<br /><br />Director of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology Dr C N Manjunath, Consultant, Human Rights Commission, Prof Rajkumar and Chief Editor of ‘Rashtrotham’ magazine, S R Ramaswamy will also be conferred the honorary doctorates at the convocation ceremony. <br /><br />Degree<br /><br />Around 1,200 bachelors and postgraduates will be granted their degrees on the occasion.<br />Planning Commission Member and National Advisory Council Member Dr Naredra Jadav will deliver the graduation day address.</p>
