JOIN USDisclosing this to reporters on Thursday, Medical Education Minister S A Ramadas said the committee will submit the report in a month’s time, recommending steps to be taken to punish all those responsible for the alleged irregularities.
The Karnataka Lokayukta has already submitted a report on the issue. The Committee will go through the Lokayukta report, probe into other cases of irregularities, including encroachment of the college land, and make its own recommendations. The Government will take necessary steps within by March-end, he added.

Ramdas said the department had prepared a list of eligible and ineligible candidates with respect to irregularities in appointments at Hassan Medical College.
The list will be placed before the Cabinet for its approval. The list will be uploaded on the department’s website after securing the Cabinet’s nod, he added.
