Wine festival kicks off to a 'cool start'

The event with the slogan 'Drink wine for health' is meant to serve as a platform to wine enthusiasts, grape growers and wine producers but the entertainment packed event made the venue a cool chill-out zone. Seminars by industry experts, sessions on wine tasting, food pairing and wine culture, wine production and grape growing were held as part of the event. “Farmers should know the grape variety they should grow to make a good wine.
They should also have the knowledge of weather conducive to grow good quality grapes,” Keshav Raju, a graper grower said.
