More than 8,000 to write KMAT 2009 today

As many as  6,800 seats from 127 private management institutions will be available for candidates with KMAT scores.

The management quota MBA and MCA seats from private institutions will be thrown open to students for selection. Bangalore will have six test centres with nine other centres across the State.

On the test, Dr M Prakash, Secretary, KPPCA, said, “With KMAT scores, students will be eligible for both MBA and MCA courses.


This year, students can register even on the day of test before 1pm if he or she wishes to write the test.

Helplines will be operative on Sunday for the benefit of students regarding registration and admission tickets.”

The KMAT results will be announced in about a week’s time added Dr Prakash. KMAT is scheduled to be held between 2 pm to 5pm on July 19.
