The golden pair reunited?

She is supposed to be starring in film-maker R Balki’s upcoming film and the director is keen on casting the actress with Amitabh Bachchan as he has previously cast Bachchan with Tabu and Vidya Balan. But neither the film-maker nor the actress are ready to confirm the news.

However, R Balki confirmed for the first time recently that the beautiful actress is indeed making a comeback this year. Not in his film, but in his wife Gauri Shinde’s directorial debut. And she might also be paired in Balki’s own directorial venture with Big B.

The two were earlier paired together in the 1980s hit Inquilaab, directed by Rama Rao. Later, they scorched the screen again in the 1990 release Khuda Gawah, directed by Mukul Anand.

Most producers shied away from pairing them together as they were considered to be really big stars individually to be accommodated together. In fact, Yash Chopra had wanted to cast Big B and Sri together in Veer Zaara. But his plans didn’t work out.
