thrilled Amitabh BachchanFrom ‘Buddha’ to ‘Bbuddah’

AB corp and Viacom 18’s Bbuddah — Hoga Terra Baap, an action thriller written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, was launched recently.

The film stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. Initially titled Buddha, the name of the film was changed recently. “There is no controversy over the title of our next film,” explained Amitabh. “How would you spell buddha (meaning an old man in Hindi) in English without making it sound like Gautam Buddha? So we decided to write it as bbuddah so that no one confuses the film with the name of the saint,” he reasoned. Bbuddah... reunites Bachchan with his Baghban co-star Hema Malini and his Aks co-star Raveena Tandon.

Dancing with style

Having worked with almost everyone from the film industry, choreographer Bosco of the popular dancing duo Bosco-Caesar, doesn’t rate anyone as the best, but feels all actors can be classified according to their tastes and energies. According to him, “Hrithik and Shahid Kapoor are perfectionists on stage. Ranbir Kapoor is a natural and dance seems to come effortlessly to him. Salman has incredible charisma — any move done by him becomes a style statement.” About the actresses, he says, “Deepika has a great athletic body so she makes all the moves look easy. Katrina has come a long way with her dancing and has stunned everyone with Sheila Ki Jawani. Kareena is very Bollywood in style and Priyanka has a great hip-hop vibe to her dancing.”
