Yagatipura annual fair from today

The historical temple, which is supposed to be built in the year 1019 by the king of Dwarasamudra, Hariharasomeshwara, is located in a remote village 20 km away from Kadur town.

Located on the banks of river Vedavati is surrounded by coconut, arecanut, mango, jackfruit and other trees, adding more beauty to the temple. The annual fair of the temple draws devotees in large number.

Various programmes like Vrishabha Sarpavahanotsava, Girija Kalyana, Gajarohanotsava, Veeragase and others will be held on the occasion.
