R Nandan, Secretary, Rural District Table Tennis Association Bangalore, was the chief guest.
Abdul Raqueeb, a member of the Jamia Mohammadia Education Society, welcomed the chief guest, parents and all those present on the occasion.

He announced the recent accreditation of the school to University of Cambridge, UK, which was received with a thunderous applause.

Principal Sujata Khadabadi then introduced the chief guest, wished the students good luck and advised them to take sports in the true spirit of sportsmanship.

The chief guest highlighted the importance of sports and physical fitness and assured that he would extend all necessary assistance to set up and coach children in table tennis.

He declared the sports meet open. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, march past, mass PT, display of hoops and dumb bells. Athletics and other novelty races were conducted for the children, followed by book-balancing race for the men and women who were present there.

In a nutshell, the roles of parents were reversed to those of children during the race and everyone put their best foot forward. It was a treat to watch them. Unnaiza of LKG was declared the champion and all the winners received the medals. Rebecca Vincent was the compere for the programme.

On the whole, it was a fun-filled memorable evening which will be cherished by everyone present.
