Debutant Vijay Prakash’s Aadu Puli is a proverbial clash between an ambitious politician and his bete noire, who incidentally is his daughter’s dream man. A hotchpotch of Kollywood’s potboilers, Prakash’s flick is replete with numbing action and sing-song romance signifying nonsense.

Aadu Puli is a poor man’s commercial potpourri revolving around the politician with eyes on the chief minister’s gaddi taking unkindly to daughter Anjali’s love life. How he and his henchmen try to finish off loverboy Idaya and his family and the brave beau takes on them in a joust of brain and brawn forms the mindless offering. With nothing to write home, this goat and tiger tussle is strictly for Aadhi’s admirers. Period!
